Mongrel Productions has been primarily established to create high quality audio visual presentations of David Darcy's work, dogs and dog related subjects.

The first project entitled Mongrel Country episode 1 has been a year in the making and includes many aspects of David Darcy's work. Including his travels, the personalities of the dogs in his pictures, the production process of a published book and the motives behind David's work.

Join best selling Author/photographer David Darcy and his four mongrel mates as they travel Australia. The journey takes us from high in the mountains of the great dividing range to the dust of the outback and beyond as we visit some of the most remote and spectacular parts of the country. Along the way we visit uniquely Australian places like the Nullarbor Plain, the Pilbara, the Barkly Tablelands and the Kimberly.

Then go behind the scene's as David shows us the making of his most recent book, Little Mongrels. This is an adorable look at little puppies from all breeds and backgrounds. Some come from working farms in country NSW and others are suburban backyard pups. And then there is a special group of hopeful little puppy from the RSPCA waiting for a second chance.
David Darcy has been photographing dogs in Australia for the past six years. Capturing a very personal and nostalgic record of mans best friend.
